Our Story

Your club was established back in 1952 with a main purpose to revive and enhance Brunei's proud seafaring history. Our club rules specifically state that an objective of the club shall be "The encouragement of yachting and yacht racing in Brunei Darussalam" and we interpret the word 'yacht' to mean any privately owned vessel used principally for recreational purposes and powered by engine or sail.

We do, however, welcome members who are not interested in yachting, don't own a yacht, nor have any intention of ever buying one! Everyone is welcome to our club.

We have a wonderful range of facilities hosted across two different venues and we arrange all sorts of events throughout the year, to make your membership a valued part of your life and something to be proud of.
